Stop Me When This Sounds Familiar

On Jan 31st, 2026 (yes, on a Saturday), I received an email from my employer:

"On February 2, 2026, *REDACTED* will issue a layoff notice to all of its employees via first class mail. This notice affects all job titles at all positions."

No final paycheck.
No WARN pay. No COBRA paperwork.

(Yes, there's a lawsuit pending, so I can't discuss it. Search it if you enjoy misery).

19 months of 60-80 hour work weeks, just to end like this.

And the worst thing?

This was my third company shut down in four years.

But... <Plot Twist>

One day back in 2014, I was in a political argument with someone on a social media platform. You could say things were getting "a little heated". Ad hominem attacks were just around the corner.

But I couldn't let it go. I had to win this one. I went to the US Congress' website looking for data that would back up my argument.

I didn't find any. Instead, I found something even more disturbing: The US government was spending a TON of taxpayer dollars on some seriously questionable stuff.

I shared my links with her. The vibe of the conversation instantly changed. We stopped arguing. We were now bonding in shared disbelief at what we were seeing.

It wasn't too hard to see where things were going. If we were right, the job market would keep getting worse. And this was before AI and robotics came around.

I decided I wasn't waiting for that mess. I was going to learn sales and marketing proper, and become my own boss.

And I was committed to doing things the right way. Business based on value, transparency, and genuine human connection. People paid fairly for honest work.

After years of study and training, I started moonlighting as an independent business consultant. The end result?

I was right. The honest approach works, IF you do it correctly.

One client made $1500 in their first deal in South America. Another made $39k with their third client in the UK. Among many others. With no shady tactics or gimmicks.

...

So when my employer closed its doors in February, I had a choice: Go back to the grind, just to get laid off again? Or go full-time independent?

I've made up my mind. I'm going full-time independent.

As my first task, I've created the TWC Toolkit outlining how to start an honest business, step-by-step. All the business fundamentals are there. And I'm giving it away for free.

Because damn it, I can't change the world alone.

The TWC Toolkit - Here's What You Get:

Tap Into the Gold Mines That the Megacorps Pass By

Find a profitable niche, fly under the radar of big business, and avoid the dreaded “solution in search of a problem”.

Write a Complete Business Model On a Single Page

No binders, no charts, no BS “projections”. Just the data you need for future partners and investors to take you seriously.

Prove Your Business Model Before Spending Any Money

Know your target market, know what they'll buy, know the fair price, and create happy customers. All you need is a phone.

Walk Into Business Conversations Knowing Exactly What To Say

Crush your anxiety and start leading conversations. When you speak good business, no one can beat you; they can only respect you.

"I Don't Believe You. The Free Market is Evil Incarnate"

I don't blame you for feeling this way. You're talking to the guy who watched three companies close their doors in four years.

But I refuse to believe that we can't create a world in our vision.

And we don't need a civil war or a mountain of new government regulations to do it. All we need is a genuine desire to help each other, a commitment to fairness, and trust.

So let's start trusting each other, right here, right now:

I'd Like To Propose a Deal...

I Offer You:

... a free, complete toolkit on how to start your own business.

... one ethical business tip in your inbox at the start of each week.

... one accountability email at the end of each week.

... make it easy to unsubscribe at any time.

... not share your personal information with anyone (I never have, and yes, people have asked me to).

You Offer Me:

... your permission to email you one tip and one accountability email per week.

... your permission to occasionally (OCCASIONALLY) email you about new stuff.

... mutual agreement that if I announce a paid offering, you can ignore it without me hassling you.

I Trust You To:

... share a sensible first name and real email address with me.

... actually use this stuff to start your own business.

... share your success stories with me.

... not raise your pitchforks if I sell something to someone else.
